Cyberpunk 2077 is full of hidden surprises, and the Phantom Liberty expansion is no different! CD Projekt RED has tucked secrets throughout the game, so exploring every nook and cranny is worthwhile. You might even uncover fun references, like one to Keanu Reeves’ famous role in John Wick – it’s a discovery that even the character Johnny Silverhand reacts to!
John Wick easter egg in Cyberpunk 2077
As a huge fan of both Cyberpunk 2077 and Keanu Reeves, I was blown away by a little Easter egg I found! If you head to the weapons shop in the Stadium area of Dogtown, keep an eye out for a hidden box. It’s tucked away in a corner, behind some other crates, so it’s easy to miss, but it’s signed “For Mr. Wick”! It’s such a cool nod to his role in John Wick, and I was so excited when I spotted it.
Okay, so when you finally get to this spot, Johnny’s gonna, well, just tell you what he thinks about it. He doesn’t exactly beat around the bush, and he’ll basically say something like this:
Oh f**k…
This is a clear reference to John Wick, the main character in the popular action movies starring Keanu Reeves. Wick is a famous former hitman originally from Belarus who comes out of retirement in the first film to avenge the death of his dog at the hands of Russian-American gangsters.

The franchise currently includes four main films, a prequel TV show, and a spin-off, making it very popular and continuously expanding.
Beyond hidden Easter eggs, Cyberpunk 2077 offers plenty of interesting discoveries in Night City. You can find unique weapons like the Mantis Blades and Skippy, and even glitches that let you access secret areas below the city. Cyberpunk 2077 is packed with unexpected surprises.
