Faker’s win solidifies his place as the greatest League of Legends player of all time. With six World Championship titles – more than anyone else – he’s further cemented his legendary status.
KT Rolster made their return to the League of Legends World Championship after a four-year absence, giving T1 a tough fight that ultimately ended with a 3-2 victory for T1.
T1 is the first League of Legends team to win the championship six times, achieving this feat in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2023, 2024, and 2025. This series of wins is often referred to as a ‘threepeat’ due to their consecutive victories in 2013, 2015, and 2016.
