Her dad is dealing with some seriously shady business – three boats full of toxic waste – and Frank has to keep Valentina close, because they’re both wearing explosives that will detonate if she gets too far away. It’s a classic Statham action movie – fast cars, intense fights, and a lot of pressure!
Will The Stath Ever Return as The Transporter?

As a huge action movie fan, I’m still hoping we get a proper Transporter 4! Jason Statham’s become a massive star, and while they’ve tried to keep the franchise going without him – those aren’t really sequels in my book, and those ads don’t count either! – it just isn’t the same. The good news is Louis Leterrier, who directed the first Transporter film, is keen on making another one, which gives me hope!
Honestly, getting to see more of that would be incredible! Working on ‘The Transporter’ was such a fantastic experience. I keep thinking, why not revisit that world? Frank Martin is just a really cool character, and Jason Statham absolutely nails the role. We seriously need another ‘Transporter’ movie, don’t we?
Jason Statham has explained why he stopped making Transporter movies. He said the studio wanted him to commit to three more films back in 2015 without even sharing a script. He was also offered less money for the three films combined than he would have earned for a single movie, so he made a business decision and moved on. He’d have been happy to continue if the terms were different.
Jason Statham is back with another action-packed thriller! He’ll star in Shelter, directed by Ric Roman Waugh (known for Angel Has Fallen). The movie, coming out on January 30, 2026, features Statham as a man living in isolation on a remote Scottish island. When he rescues a young girl, it sets off a dangerous chain of events, ultimately leading to an attack on his home and forcing him to confront his troubled past.
