It’s the final week of October, and plenty of new games are still coming out! Over 20 games are scheduled to launch on the PlayStation Network this week.
There are more than a handful of big releases this week across a wide range of genres.
Here’s a full rundown of the games coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 this week, plus our top picks.
PlayStation Store New Game Releases For October 27 To November 2

Okay, gamers, mark your calendars! October 30th is shaping up to be a HUGE release day. I’ve got the list of games coming out that you absolutely won’t want to miss, so check it out below!
Highlights
The Outer Worlds, a role-playing game developed by Obsidian, launched on PlayStation 5 on October 29th. There was some initial concern it would be the first Xbox-published game to cost $70, but Microsoft decided against that price. Early reviews suggest the game is getting off to a strong start.
Okay, so I’m super excited because Age of Empires 4 is finally coming to PlayStation 5 on October 30th! It used to be exclusive to Xbox, but now we get to play it too. I’ve heard it’s a really great real-time strategy game – it actually won awards when it first came out back in 2021, and they’ve rebuilt it specifically for consoles, which is awesome.
Arc Raiders, the new extraction shooter from Embark Studio, is now available on PS5 and PC! Following a successful test, players can finally dive into the game. If you’re looking for a PvE experience with some PvP aspects, and perhaps a fresh alternative to games like Destiny 2, Arc Raiders might be exactly what you’re looking for. Early reactions suggest this could become a major player in the multiplayer shooter scene.
Following the popular HD-2D remake of Dragon Quest 3, Square Enix is revisiting the series’ roots with a remake of the first two Dragon Quest games. Players can look forward to classic RPG gameplay enhanced with updated graphics and quality-of-life improvements, launching October 30th on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
The Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection (available on PS5 and PS4 starting October 30th) is a bundle featuring over 10 games from the iconic franchise, including some older titles you might have missed.
As a long-time Virtua Fighter fan, I’m really excited about Virtua Fighter 5 REVO coming to PS5 on October 30th! It’s amazing to think the series is celebrating its 30th anniversary. This feels like a great way to get us hyped up for whatever the full, next-gen version of the game will be. From what I’ve heard, it’ll include some cool extras like exclusive outfits, artwork showing how the game was made, and the soundtrack – I can’t wait to check it all out!
