For quite some time now, whispers have been circulating that the September Nintendo Direct is on the horizon, not only because numerous leakers hinted at its arrival, but also due to their long-standing practice of using this month as a platform for revealing all the juicy details about their upcoming games and giving us a sneak peek into the world of gaming entertainment.

This month celebrates the 40th anniversary of the initial Super Mario Bros., and to further excite fans, the long-awaited Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has received ratings in various countries, hinting that a launch date might soon be announced. Apart from Metroid, Nintendo is also set to release Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Kirby Air Riders this year.
