Veibae, a VTuber, disclosed that VShojo warned her with a potential legal action if she discussed them after her departure from their agency.
As a devoted fan, I’m sharing an update about Ironmouse, our beloved VTubing sensation. On July 21st, she announced her departure from VShojo. This decision stemmed from her assertion that the organization hadn’t fulfilled its commitment to The Immune Deficiency Foundation, owing them $500K from her viral charity subathon. However, Ironmouse’s impact is far-reaching; she’s since raised an impressive sum of over $1.1 million for this noble cause.
Ironmouse’s departure from her VTuber agency inspired several others to do the same, among them was Kson, who was present with the CEO during their livestream at the time.
In a reference to events that transpired in April 2023, Veibae mentioned that the shutdown of Vshojo signified the termination of her Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), thereby enabling her to speak freely and openly regarding the circumstances surrounding her departure from the agency.
Veibae reveals real reason behind VShojo exit
As a gamer, I’m sharing an experience from 2023 when vshojo attempted to intimidate me with a contract that was downright predatory. When I dared to ask for more details, their COO responded in a hostile manner and flat-out refused to answer my questions. Left with no choice, I had to consult a lawyer just to get some much-needed clarity on the matter. This is what I shared on X (formerly Twitter).
To depart, they insisted I put my signature on a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), restricting me from discussing the matter with any colleagues. I was forbidden to disclose my reason for leaving or the specifics of the conditions I refused.
Not only did I face consequences, but also criticism for suggesting they should represent themselves legally. Their actions ranged from watching my live streams to reading my Discord posts, and then they would threaten me with lawsuits. Any comment that might have expressed my true feelings about the company was met with a lawsuit threat.
As a result, I chose to terminate my relationship with VSHojo because they pressured me into an exploitative contract that was unacceptable. When I inquired about it further, their COO became aggressive and refused to address my concerns, so I decided to leave the company.

Veibae mentioned that VShojo intentionally planned their departure with Silvervale on the same day, aiming to reduce potential harm to their organization.
The VTuber asserted that she “never received payment from any of my sponsors following the execution of the Non-Disclosure Agreement,” and added that “even after two years, I am yet to be fully reimbursed.
It’s been confirmed that VShojo ceased operations on July 24, with its former CEO, Justin Ignacio, stating that the company had insufficient funds to meet its obligations to its talent pool.
