In the game Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, you’ll encounter numerous puzzles that have crucial items hidden in various locations. These items are frequently necessary to advance on the main path and unlock new areas. Often, you can discover either the puzzle itself or a piece of it. The Buddha statue is an example where finding one item leads to solving the puzzle.
To advance deeper into the Tang Emperor’s Palace and encounter the primary boss of this region, you’ll need to locate the Buddha Statue. Here’s where to find the statue and what you should do with it once you’ve found it:
1. Locate the Buddha Statue within the palace.
2. If you’ve already come across the statue before finding its destination, here’s what you need to do with it: Interact or use the statue in a specific way that triggers an event or reveals a hidden path leading you closer to your goal – the boss battle awaits!
Where to Find the Buddha Statue in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
To locate the Buddha Statue, begin at the Palace Hill Shrine and then proceed by taking the path to your right. This path descends towards a bridge, situated just below the hill you’re standing on. Continue along this covered road until you reach a fork. To your right, you’ll notice some stacked boxes. Behind these boxes, there’s an enemy waiting who will attack you once you approach. Two more enemies will join the fray shortly after the first one becomes agitated.
Once you’ve eliminated the adversaries, proceed along the path that was previously obstructed by boxes. Keep going until you encounter a massive rock barricading your progress. Right next to this boulder is where you’ll find a collectible item, the Buddha Statue.
What to Do With the Buddha Statue in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
Making your way back, carry the Buddha Statue towards the Shrine on Palace Hill. Remember to rejuvenate before taking on a tough battle ahead. Instead of going straight, opt for the path to the left that leads up the hill this time. Keep hugging the left side as you pass by the Gazebo. You’ll spot a small pedestal there where you can place the Buddha Statue. Performing this action will deplete the water in the Palace’s center, your next destination.
Return to the spot where you encountered the last area’s boss, the maid. Look at the gaping chasm that now lies there, and prepare yourself before descending. Despite its height, you can safely descend without suffering any harm, but it will initiate a challenging boss fight, arguably one of the toughest you’ve faced so far in the game.
- Wear armor that increases slash resistance.
- Have a lot of endurance, as you’ll need to dodge a lot.
- This boss fight does have a phase 2, where she becomes a lot more aggressive, with more ranged attacks and longer combos.
- Bring a weapon with quick attacks, as you won’t have time to land a long wind-up attack.
