Disney+ has officially revealed when we can watch the second season of the much-awaited series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. To add to the excitement, they’ve also released the first trailer for the return of this growing-up fantasy series. This sneak peek offers a glimpse into Percy Jackson’s upcoming journey, and it even gives us our first look at the appearance of his half-brother Tyson, who is a cyclops.
As a die-hard movie enthusiast, let me put it this way: In the second season, I find myself on an exhilarating journey as Percy Jackson. After the boundaries of Camp Half-Blood are compromised, I venture into the treacherous Sea of Monsters in a desperate quest to find my cherished friend Grover and the magical Golden Fleece, a treasure that could potentially save our camp. Alongside Annabeth, Clarisse, and my newly discovered cyclops half-brother Tyson, I am determined to ensure my survival because it’s crucial for us to thwart the evil plans of Luke, the Titan Kronos, and their scheme to annihilate Camp Half-Blood — ultimately leading to the downfall of Olympus itself.

When is the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 release date?
The second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is set to premiere on Disney+ on December 10th. Before its release, the series has already been given a sneak peek at a third season. In addition, author Rick Riordan has revealed that Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie will be joining the cast as characters Nico di Angelo (son of Hades) and Bianca in Season 3.
As a movie aficionado, I’m excited to share my thoughts on this upcoming series. Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg have masterfully crafted and overseen its creation. The talented cast is headed by Walker Scobell, who brilliantly portrays Percy Jackson, with Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue, Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, Virginia Kull as Sally Jackson, Glynn Turman as Chiron, and Toby Stephens brings Poseidon to life.
In the second season, inspired by Rick Riordan’s 2006 novel “The Sea of Monsters,” we will introduce a host of new characters. Daniel Diemer plays Percy’s cyclops half-brother Tyson, Andra Day portrays Athena, Margaret Cho takes on the role of Wasp, Kristen Schaal is cast as Tempest, Sandra Bernhard brings Anger to life, Timothy Simons becomes Tantalus, Tamara Smart joins us as Thalia, Rosemarie DeWitt portrays C.C., Aleks Paunovic takes on Polyphemus, Beatrice Kitsos is Alison Simms and Kevin Chacon steps into the role of Chris Rodriguez.
