1989 PC-9801 version of Hydlide 3: The Space Memories Special Version ported to Switch via EGG Console

D4 Enterprise has just launched a new version of the classic game Hydlide 3: The Space Memories for the Nintendo Switch. This version, known as the EGG Console port, is based on the 1989 PC-9801 Special Version. You can now purchase it from Nintendo eShops globally, and in North America, it costs $7.16.

With the recent launch of this new port, the classic Hydlide action RPG trilogy for Nintendo Switch is now complete in a technical sense. D4 Enterprise initially brought over the original Hydlide from MSX back in September 2024. The second installment, Hydlide II: Shine of Darkness, based on the MSX version, was also released more recently, in May.
