In the coming year, Bandai Namco plans to revisit the post-apocalyptic realm of Code Vein, teeming with Revenants, in Code Vein 2. This sequel promises an expanded explorable area that surpasses its precursor. As hinted in the video below, players won’t be walking everywhere; they’ll have the luxury of traveling on a powerful supernatural motorcycle!

In the video, Keita Iizuka reveals that the Revenant Hunter’s bike isn’t a typical motorcycle; instead, it’s a magical incantation that conjures up a vehicle on demand. This means it won’t require any regular fuel or maintenance parts. Yet, it remains uncertain if players must supply something to maintain the bike’s energy source.

Iizuka mentioned that if the player is joined by a character companion, they’ll hitch a ride on the back of the Revenant Hunter’s motorcycle in Code Vein 2. This motorbike, imbued with supernatural energy, is being showcased at San Diego Comic-Con this week as a promotional piece for the game. Fans can snap photos with it here, or catch glimpses of it at PAX West and New York Comic Con later in the year.

Previously, Bandai Namco hinted that Code Vein 2’s narrative would compel the Revenant Hunter to ally with other Revenants against a looming menace aiming to annihilate their universe as a whole. Furthermore, this upcoming game will incorporate a time-travel feature, allowing players to journey back in time and implement alterations that resonate and influence the current state of their world.

Code Vein 2 will hit Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2026.
