After a six-year development period, Leenzee Games’ “Wuchang: Fallen Feathers” has finally been released for play on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and personal computers (including Game Pass). This role-playing game with action elements, published by 505 Games, takes place in an alternate history of the late Ming Dynasty. Players will embark on an adventure through the Land of Shu, assuming the role of Bai Wuchang.
Apart from mysteriously losing her recollections, Wuchang is battling the Feathering ailment and striving for a remedy. Notably, this connects with the Chisel she owns and defeating numerous cursed adversaries across the realm. The game Fallen Feathers adopts a stamina bar and death penalty, much like other Souls-like games, while boasting 25 distinct weapons and 40 enchantments.
Moreover, it encompasses the ability to swap weapons and a feature called Madness, which intensifies as Wuchang perishes, amplifying both her inflicted and sustained damage. This condition may also spawn an Inner Demon that needs to be vanquished for the recovery of all lost currency. For a comprehensive look at Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, don’t forget to read our review, which earned it an impressive 8 out of 10.
