Ironmouse admits she wasn’t sure when she’d return to Twitch over VShojo drama

The virtual streaming personality, Ironmouse, has disclosed that she’s been experiencing intense emotional turmoil due to her issues with Vshojo, and at one point, she was uncertain about returning to the spotlight.

On the 21st of July, Ironmouse, a well-known VTuber, declared an end to her prolonged association with VShojo. She asserted that VShojo had failed to pay approximately half a million dollars to The Immune Deficiency Foundation, which was supposed to be raised during her popular charity subathon event.

The departure of Ironmouse triggered an overwhelming surge of charitable donations, totaling over $1m, and it also led several VTubers to leave VShojo. Among them was Kson, who used to collaborate with the company’s CEO.

On July 23, the VTuber reappeared on Twitch after more than a week’s absence, intending to clarify all recent events.

Ironmouse reveals she’s been an “emotional mess”

In the flow back, Ironmouse confessed she had been deeply troubled by all that had transpired, acknowledging her uncertainty about whether she would reappear again.

She shared with her audience that she’d been uncertain about when she’d stream next due to feeling emotionally unstable. She’s been going through a particularly tough period in her life, and this stretch has turned out to be the longest break from streaming since she first started broadcasting many years ago. Previously, she often took breaks, but this current absence is the longest one so far.

Were you feeling my absence? I felt your absence deeply as well! For a while there, I barely spoke and didn’t do much of anything – I guess you could say I was under the weather, literally and figuratively.

Ironmouse pointed out that there’s nothing further she can add regarding the drama, as everything relevant has already been addressed in her video.

As soon as I’m capable of expressing myself clearly, I will express whatever I need to. I will share all that I can once I am able,” the VTuber explained.
