Every Quest Vehicle in Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 and Phantom Liberty

Title Cityscape of Cyberpunk 2077: A Metropolis Driven by Automobiles

The metropolis of Night City in Cyberpunk 2077 is dominated by cars. The streets are bustling with vehicles, and the public transportation system takes a backseat as merely an expedient mode of travel. Character V has the option to amass an almost limitless fleet of automobiles spanning various models and categories in their garage. Fortunately for the thrifty mercenary, there’s no shortage of free rides to be had, and this guide will walk you through all the ways to get them. We’ve included vehicles introduced with the latest 2.0 update as well as the Phantom Liberty expansion.

For your ease, we’ve categorized our vehicle roster according to their types. Certain vehicles are incorporated into the narrative, while others are obtainable through completing quests. Additionally, there are vehicles tucked away in secret city nooks, accessible as soon as you approach them. This inventory will provide details on where to acquire each vehicle and how to unlock it.

If you’re keen on investing in vehicles, take a look at this guide for purchasing cars from El Capitan’s AutoFixer online platform. Notably, AutoFixer not only offers cars from their inventory but also features vehicles sold by Fixers, which were previously available before version 2.0.

Note: More vehicles were added with the 2.3 update, which have been included on this page.

Cyberpunk 2077 Free Vehicles: Economy and Executive Cars

V’s Archer Hella EC-D i360

In the narrative, the Archer Hella EC-D i360 serves as your initial and primary mode of transportation throughout Act 1 of the game. You claim this vehicle during “The Rescue” mission, which acts as your introductory experience with the character, Jackie.

As a dedicated fan, I must say, my own Hella stands out from the crowd! It sports a charming little dashboard bulldog bobblehead and a personalized sticker, while boasting slightly superior statistics compared to a standard Hella.

Initially in Act 2, there’ll be a short period where you won’t have access to V’s vehicle, Hella, due to the setup for the quest “Tune Up”. After finishing this quest, Hella will reappear back in V’s garage within a few days in the game.

Thorton Galena GA40XT “Rattler”

This compact car is an authentic workhorse, which isn’t unexpected – It serves as V’s primary vehicle when they select the Nomad life path. Opting for a Nomad lifestyle is the sole means of acquiring this specific automobile. You temporarily lose access to it during the prologue, but you can reclaim it in Act 2 by completing a story mission that leads you into the Badlands and activating the side quest “These Boots Are Made For Walkin'”.

The event will guide you to Medeski Fuel Station in the barren territories, close to the Night City Waste Dump. There, you’ll encounter a decision since the vehicle now belongs to someone else. You can either intimidate or bribe the new owner to get hold of the car again, or decide to let it go permanently.

To put it straight from a gamer’s perspective, the Rattler feels awfully similar to an off-the-shelf Galena, without any standout features that make it shine individually.

Delamain No. 21 Taxi

After wrapping up the extended series of missions called “Epistrophy,” starting with “Tune Up” and culminating in “Don’t Lose Your Mind,” you’ll gain control of a well-known Delamain taxi cab as your reward. The journey through these seven instalments will shape the AI personality that accompanies your new cab, as your decisions throughout the missions play a significant role in this character development.

You’ll still have to do the driving, though.

Villefort Alvarado “Vato”

In this game, the Vato, a unique and lavishly adorned vehicle owned by your rival Cesar in the mission “Beat on the Brat: The Glen,” may be up for grabs. However, if you wish to claim it, you’ll have to prove yourself through combat.

Cesar is offering a wager where he puts his car on the line for your upcoming fight. If you win the fight, you’ll have the choice to claim both the car and the money he had bet, or just take the car and leave the money behind. Either way, the victory will also add the Vato to your collection, automatically.

Keep in mind that defeating Cesar may prove challenging, especially at lower character levels or if your combat skills aren’t focused on unarmed melee. For strategies to help you improve V for an optimal boxing win, refer to our updated build guide.

Cyberpunk 2077 Free Vehicles: Sport, Muscle, and Hypercars

Rayfield Caliburn “Murkmobile”

In the pulsating world of Cyberpunk 2077, I’ve found nothing quite as fast as the Rayfield Caliburn when it comes to solo rides. The cherry on top? You can snag one without opening your wallet, but there are a couple of prerequisites. First, you need to have wrapped up the “Ghost Town” mission. Second, make sure your Street Cred is at least level 40. That’s all she wrote!

After meeting the necessary requirements, navigate to a tunnel situated south of Raffen Shiv’s hideout in Ghost Town. Here, you’ll initiate an unlabeled mission titled “Murk Man”. Inside this tunnel, you’ll discover a shipping container filled with loot, a datapad entry, and a black Rayfield Caliburn. As soon as you climb aboard it, the vehicle will be added to your garage. This particular model is black instead of white, free of charge.

Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech

The vehicle showcased in early previews and promotional materials for Cyberpunk 2077 is this model, distinctively marked by its four horizontal tail lights. To get hold of such a car, make your way to The Glen, located in Heywood, and complete the “Gig: Life’s Work” mission. This task involves retrieving another character’s vehicle and returning it to them.

After finishing the task, you’ll receive another one labeled as “Sex on Wheels”. Finish this next task to expand your garage collection with the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech.

Or

A few days following its completion, you’ll be given another task called “Sex on Wheels”. Complete this task to include a Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech in your garage.

Porsche 911 Turbo II 930

In this game, Cyberpunk 2077, an iconic sports car is the personal vehicle of a character named Johnny Silverhand. This is one of the few vehicles from the game that actually exists in reality, and it could be yours if you successfully complete the mission titled “Chippin’ In”.

During your mission, you’ll encounter a situation where you can either eliminate or spare an NPC. Opt for the dialogue option “I must say I had some good fortune today,” to let them live, and in return, you’ll obtain a key card that unlocks a shipping container holding a car. Alternatively, you could end their life and retrieve the key from their body, but then you’d need to locate the container with the vehicle on your own.

Archer Quartz “Bandit”

In the update version 1.3 of Cyberpunk 2077, a personalized Archer Quartz sports car was unveiled as a free add-on. This car can be obtained gratis during the “Ghost Town” mission. Towards the end of this mission, Panam Palmer, your partner, will request assistance for some payback. If you decline her request, Rogue, your fixer, will admire your professionalism and bestow the car upon you as a reward.

If you decide to aid Panam, you’ll have the opportunity to buy a car later on. Datoka Smith, the mechanic in the Badlands, will put the car up for sale a few days after you finish “Ghost Town”. Plus, there’s an option to directly purchase this vehicle through its AutoFixer entry.

Quadra Type-66 640 TS

To earn this distinctive green-colored Type-66 model, complete all tasks assigned by Dino Dinovic from City Center Fixer. Upon finishing these tasks, embark on a mini-adventure known as “Gas Gas Gas”, which rewards you with the coveted car.

Quadra Type-66 “Cthulhu”

In the high-stakes world of Night City’s death racing, it’s Peter Sampson who owns a specially tailored muscle car model Quadra Type-66 for the track, and you’ll go head-to-head with him during the mission titled “The Beast Within”.

To win Sampson’s car for free, it’s crucial to behave appropriately during the mission, especially when interacting with Claire, your co-driver in the race. Maintain a professional demeanor, concentrate on the race itself, and prioritize compassion over retribution. By doing so, you can help ensure Sampson survives the dangerous race. A few days later, you should expect to receive a text from Sampson saying that he’s gifting his car to you.

Should the mission end any other way, you’ll still be able to purchase the car via AutoFixer.

Quadra Type-66 “Hoon”

In the game Cyberpunk 2077, the Nomad-tailored Type-66 is the initial, armed vehicle offered for free. You’ll find it as a reward in a hidden quest situated in the Northside area.

Check out our full guide to the “I’m In Love With My Car” quest at this link.

Mizutani Shion “Coyote”

You can secure this Nomad-tailored sports car through an alternative method of payment, which doesn’t involve buying it outright. Earning it instead will demonstrate that there exist various means of compensation beyond cash.

Instead, you should forsake Panam prior to the mission titled “With A Little Help From My Friends,” and inform Saul about her intentions.

Keep in mind that choosing this option will irreversibly prevent you from completing the remaining missions related to Panam in the game, which could affect one of the game’s potential conclusions. Ponder over your decision before proceeding.

Saul, however, will be grateful, and leave the vehicle for you at the Sunset Motel in the Badlands.

On the AutoFixer website, you’ll find a car with a similar design as the Coyote, but it comes in a different color.

Quadra Sport R-7 “Charon”, “Sterling” and “Vigilante”

In the expansion of Cyberpunk 2077 titled Phantom Liberty, a new high-performance Quadra vehicle, the Quadra Sport R-7, joins the fray as a rival to the Type-66. This expansion offers an impressive three distinct versions of the Sport R-7 for you to collect, with two being attainable through missions. Here’s a breakdown:

1. Mission acquisition 1 – Quadra Sport R-7 (Stealth Edition)
2. Mission acquisition 2 – Quadra Sport R-7 (Performance Edition)
3. Acquired through other means – Quadra Sport R-7 (Standard Edition)

“Charon”

As a fan, I’d put it this way: From Ashlay, the netrunner on Dogtown’s side hustle “Moving Heat,” I was offered an exciting opportunity – “Free Wheels.” This job requires me to sneak into a facility under the Dogtown stadium, close to the EBM Petrochem Station fast travel point, which is controlled by the Barghest. The objective? To snatch the coveted “Charon” from their grasp. Once I manage to escape with it, the Charon will be mine forever!

“Sterling”

Completing all the jobs given by Mr. Hands, the fixer in Dogtown, will earn you the “Sterling” variant of the Sport R-7.

“Vigilante”

In the game “Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty,” the “Vigilante” model of the Sport R-7 is a perk for those who have pre-ordered. This bonus will be given to character V when they reach Act 2, at which point they’ll receive a message and can access the vehicle. For players who didn’t pre-order, this specific vehicle can be bought from the Autofixer section instead.

Herrera Outlaw “Weiler”

From Autofixer’s website, you can find a fundamental grey/silver model of the Herrera Outlaw. If you’re interested in the customized black “Weiler,” here’s a fun fact: it can be acquired without any cost! After completing a certain number of vehicle retrieval tasks for Muamar, he will reach out to you with a special assignment called Baby Let Me Take You. Once this side job is completed, the Weiler will be yours, free of charge.

Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred”

As you advance in Claire and Muamar’s missions, you’ll receive a message from Muamar that sets off the Freedon mission. Essentially, he’ll instruct you to locate his vehicle, but since it’s not readily available, you’ll need to find and hijack it. Once you’ve found the vehicle, use a heavily armed vehicle to halt its progress, then make a hasty exit to avoid being caught by the police after your theft.

Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru

After advancing sufficiently in both River’s and Claire’s storylines, you’ll eventually receive a message from River concerning a stolen vehicle. If the message isn’t arriving, wait patiently and spend time in the vicinity of Badlands, specifically near the motel. This will initiate the quest known as Motorbreath.

Upon locating the vehicle, you’ll need to bring it to a halt using a strategically employed car (chase it with this vehicle). Once the drivers are subdued, you’ll advance to the next mission titled “Where Eagles Dare”, where you can activate the CrystalCoat feature.

Cyberpunk 2077 Free Vehicles: Motorcycles and Trucks

Jackie’s Nazare ARCH

In Act 1, Jacki Welles, your friend, is seen riding this personalized motorbike. After Act 1 concludes, the bike will be passed on to you.

There are essentially two variations of this bike, one being specifically available for the Nomad Lifepath V. If your Nomad V character has at least 6 points in Technical Aptitude, you’ll gain access to an exclusive dialogue option during “The Pickup” main job. This will enable V to propose some ideas for Jackie to enhance his motorcycle.

In Act 2, you’ll notice an upgrade when you get the bike, as it will surpass the features of a regular ARCH bike.

Nazare ARCH “Itsumade”

As a gamer, I can share that unlocking the personalized Tyger Claws edition of the ARCH bike is the final prize for the under-the-radar mission “The Highwayman”. To initiate this adventure, simply drop by the garage in Rancho Coronado East. Once there, it’s up to you to decipher the hints and trail the vanished couple. Good luck on your quest!

Alternatively, should you merely require the vehicle, feel free to bypass the quest entirely. The bicycle, located in a secured garage close to the All Foods factory in Northside, is your destination. To access the garage, simply input the code “0214” on its keypad.

Nazare ARCH “Malina Mobile”

In the gripping side mission “Dazed and Confused” within Phantom Liberty, your decisions could earn you an exclusive Nazare ARCH. As events unfold, you’ll encounter pivotal moments with the NPC Lina Malina. Your dialogue choices matter: If you manage to get her to say, “He’s your brother,” (assuming male character) or “He’s your sister,” (female character), you’ll be rewarded differently.

For female characters, choosing the latter will grant you a unique piece of clothing for V. Male characters will receive the iconic baseball bat “Baby Boomer”. But

Scorpion’s Brennan Apollo

In this personalized model of the Brennan Apollo bicycle, ownership lies with Scorpion, a fellow of the Aldecaldos Nomad faction. You’ll obtain it from Panam, who is offering it as a prize following the completion of the mission titled “Life During Wartime”.

Thorton Colby Butte CX410 “Grand Butte”

You can get a compact, robust vehicle for no cost from the Desert Film Set region within the Badlands. It won’t show up on your map until you get close to that area, which is near Jeff’s Dirt Track and Rocky Ridge. Unlike the standard model, this free version of the Colby Butte is painted orange instead of green.

As you make your way towards the location, you’ll start a short mission called “Dressed to Kill.” You can consider this mission completed when you secure the vehicle, at which point it will be added to your collection in your garage.

Thorton Mackinaw “Beast”, “Saguaro”, and “Demiurge”

Three different versions of Thorton’s big pickup truck can be obtained: one is earned as a mission reward, another as a reward from the Fixer, and the third one results from solving a lengthy Easter egg puzzle that has been building up over time.

Beast”

In the finale of the “The Beast in Me” mission series, you’ll receive the Mackinaw (Beast version) as a reward. Additionally, the Quadra Type-66 “Cthulhu” variant can be obtained during the same quest. For advice on how to secure that vehicle, take a look at the tips provided earlier.

“Saguaro”

In simpler terms, among the Nomads, it’s the Saguaro version of the Mackinaw that they use. You can acquire one yourself if you finish all tasks assigned by Fixer Dakota Smith; she will then provide you with one as a reward.

“Demiurge”

The Demiurge is like a Mackinaw that has been transformed into a massive truck. Players of Cyberpunk 2077 can acquire it by completing a rather intricate mission, known as the “FF:06:B5” Easter egg, which has been a challenge for dedicated players for over a year.

This side mission, which doesn’t have any markers, is quite complex and includes playing a game resembling Doom but starring Johnny Silverhand at 4:00 AM on a secret laptop. Other steps are also involved. Some players who only want the vehicle can just wait on a particular bed in the desert from 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM. During this time, V will have a scripted coughing spell, pass out, and then awaken with the Demiurge already unlocked before them.

To learn about the entire FF:06:B5 Easter egg quest and the Demiurge monster truck, check out this video from YouTube user Little Danny B. for further insights.

Tanishi T400 Truck

In the beginning of the mission “Phantom Liberty”, you’ll be granted a compact, tractor-like truck that is unique to this game. This vehicle is handed to you by Fixer Mr. Hands upon your arrival in Dogtown. If you have completed any tasks for him prior to starting “Phantom Liberty”, he will also reward you for your previous work.

As Mr. Hands handles repairs for Pacifica, which includes Dogtown, it’s likely that you may have worked with him during your visits to the area. If you haven’t, make sure to take care of any business or obligations he might require before venturing into Dogtown.

Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa

After buying at least one Yaiba vehicle and a total of three vehicles from AutoFixer, completing Reported Crime: You Play With Fire, you’ll get an email guiding you to the Nitro (Youth Energy) mission. During this mission, you’ll be managing a bot at a sales event to order a new Yaiba cycle. The cost is 95000 eddies, but you won’t need to pay until you collect the shipment at Corpo Plaza.

“Cyberpunk 2077 can be played on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and personal computers. The ‘Phantom Liberty’ expansion and version 2.0 update are accessible on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S.
