Warframe’s next major Narrative Chapter The Old Peace launches this year, Android closed beta coming Fall 2025

At TennoCon 2025, marking its 10th anniversary, Digital Extremes unveiled several updates about Warframe, such as plans for this year, insights into the Android launch, hints for 2026, and a plethora of additional information.

This year, Warframe’s next Narrative Chapter titled “The Old Peace” will be released across all platforms. The main quest “The Old Peace”, the side story “The Devil’s Triad”, a new enemy faction, the forthcoming Tauron Focus expansion, an upgraded character model for your Operator, a fresh original song, and other exciting features are included in this update. Without mentioning The Old Peace, Digital Extremes recently unveiled Tau as the title for their 2026 Narrative Chapter during TennoCon’s finale. Prior to this, in late 2025, a new mod tutorial quest called “The Teacher” will be launched in partnership with Sumo Digital. Simultaneously, Warframe for Android is set to enter its closed beta within the same time frame. During a joint Q&A session, I had the chance to ask Rebecca Ford (Warframe Creative Director) about whether the Android version would share similar features as iOS. She confirmed this and mentioned that further details will be disclosed during today’s live event.

Warframe can currently be played on computers (PC), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox consoles, and the Nintendo Switch. Additionally, it will soon enter a closed testing phase for Android devices this fall.

Digital Extremes commemorated a decade of TennoCon with an impressive gathering today, attended by thousands and streamed globally to millions of fans. Join over 85 million players on the journey ahead for Warframe, as we unveil the complete gameplay reveal for “The Old Peace,” the upcoming major Quest and narrative chapter set to launch free across all platforms this year, complete with a fresh Side Story titled “The Devil’s Triad” featuring a demon-themed Warframe and new Protoframes. Aim high and prepare for the 2026 narrative chapter, Tau, hinted at during TennoCon’s conclusion.
Other details were shared, showcasing the upcoming access to Caliban Prime, a new player Mod tutorial Quest named “The Teacher” in an unspecified Fall update, and a Fall closed beta for Warframe on Android devices. Additionally, Digital Extremes announced that Warframe will be entering the tabletop RPG world with the partnership-created Warframe x Starfinder: Operation Orias, and they gave another sneak peek at the Valkyr Heirloom Collection, set to launch on July 21.

2025 RELEASE: Valkyr’s Tortured Legacy Cosmetics (July 21): Witness the frenzy ignited by Valkyr, the reformed test subject, as she debuts her new Heirloom Series on July 21st. This collaboration with talented artist Pertti Bahaa adds a unique touch to the gameplay revamp.
