Spider-Man: No Way Home Star to Reprise Role in Wonder Man Show

One of the stars from Spider-Man: No Way Home will be reprising their role in Wonder Man.

The MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) show titled “Wonder Man,” which is produced by Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, is set to debut on Disney+ in the coming months. In this series, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will be playing the main character.

Who has joined the cast of Wonder Man?

Arian Moayed will reprise his role as Agent P. Cleary in Wonder Man, per Deadline.

Moayed’s character portrays a top-tier operative within Damage Control. In the film Spider-Man: No Way Home, Agent P. Cleary delves into the sequence of events uncovering how Spider-Man’s hidden identity was exposed to the masses. Notably, this same agent also makes an appearance in the 2022 Ms. Marvel limited series.

Moayed is well-known not only for his work with Marvel Studios, but also for his roles in TV shows like Succession on HBO, Inventing Anna on Netflix, Madam Secretary, Love Life, and Nobody Wants This. His film career includes appearances in Rock the Kasbah (2015), You Hurt My Feelings (2023), House of Spoils (2024), and Fountain of Youth (2025).

According to Deadline’s summary, “Wonder Man” is portrayed as a tribute to filmmaking, acting, and Hollywood in general. The story revolves around Simon Williams, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who finds himself immersed in the realm of superheroes. As a result, he gains his own powers and transforms into the renowned superhero called Wonder Man.

Further story details remain under wraps at this time.

In my own words, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll once again step into the shoes of Trevor Slattery in the upcoming series. Previously, you might recognize me from Iron Man 3 (2014), All Hail the King (also 2014), and most recently, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), a film directed by Cretton.

Marvel Television’s Wonder Man is expected to premiere on Disney+ this coming December.
