Invincible Season 5 Announced Alongside Major Cast Addition

Amazon’s Prime Video has confirmed that there will be a fifth season for the hit superhero animated series “Invincible,” produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. This announcement is made before the eagerly awaited premiere of Season 4, scheduled for 2026.

Who is joining Invincible Season 4?

Moreover, it’s been confirmed that Emmy-winning actor Matthew Rhys has officially signed on to the voice cast of Invincible Season 4. At present, specifics about the role he will play are being withheld. Interestingly, this won’t be Rhys’ initial foray into animated series; in the past, he has provided voiceovers for popular shows such as BoJack Horseman, The Owl House, and Gremlins.

The show “Invincible” derives inspiration from the popular graphic novel series written collectively by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. In this animated adaptation, you’ll hear familiar voices like Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, J.K. Simmons, Seth Rogen, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Zachary Quinto, Chris Diamantopoulos, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Ben Schwartz, Clancy Brown, Jay Pharoah, Mark Hamill, and others. Additionally, the series is overseen by Kirkman, David Alpert, Catherine Winder, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, and Cory Walker in their executive producer roles.

The narrative revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson who finds himself inheriting superpowers from his father. As he embarks on a journey to become Earth’s ultimate protector, he encounters challenges far beyond his expectations. However, as he grapples with his past and future, he learns that protecting the people dear to him requires even greater efforts than initially imagined.
