Although the first season of “Wakanda’s Eyes” hasn’t aired on Disney+ yet, its showrunner, Todd Harris, has subtly suggested that there might be a second season in store.
What did Eyes of Wakanda’s showrunner say about a Season 2?
During a chat with SFX magazine, Harris was inquired about the likelihood of another season for the series. Launched on August 27, 2025, Harris hinted at there being “more” narrative to explore and that the team involved are constantly producing new ideas. Additionally, he playfully suggested that, given Marvel’s penchant for prolonging stories, it’s reasonable to anticipate continued production.
As a film enthusiast, I can confidently say that the well of creative stories is never dry. No artist, writer, or creator I’ve encountered has ever felt they’ve done too little when it comes to creativity. In fact, I’ve never heard anyone complain that their script was too short! So, you can bet your popcorn that we have plenty more ideas brewing. And with Marvel at the helm? The possibilities are endless – there’s always room for more epic tales!
The new action-adventure series by Marvel Animation, titled ‘Eyes of Wakanda’, chronicles the thrilling journeys of valiant warriors from Wakanda throughout history. In this worldwide adventure, our heroes undertake perilous tasks to recover Vibranium artifacts from enemies of Wakanda. They are known as the Hatut Zaraze, and their tale is about to unfold.
As a dedicated fan, I’m excited to share that Ryan Coogler, the brilliant director behind 2018’s Black Panther and its sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in 2022, takes on an executive producer role for Eyes of Wakanda. This powerhouse team is sure to bring another captivating story from the world of Wakanda!
