Smash player becomes 7-day Jeopardy winner & has made more money than any Ultimate pro

Scott ‘Biscotto’ Riccardi, a notable player of Super Smash Bros Ultimate, has amassed significant wealth among the Smash community, primarily due to his impressive streak on Jeopardy.

For an uninterrupted week, Biscotto, a skilled Bayonetta player from New Jersey, has reigned supreme on the widely-acclaimed quiz program, Jeopardy.

In New Jersey, Biscotto may not be the top-tier Smash player, as he’s absent from the state rankings. However, what he lacks in fighting game ability, he compensates significantly with his intellect.

Starting from July 14, Riccardi has been triumphantly dominating Jeopardy, with each win adding to his impressive streak. The gaming community, particularly Smash enthusiasts, are showing strong support for their champion.

Smash player dominates Jeopardy

Biscotto’s impressive stint on Jeopardy has sparked unity among the three-state area, drawing crowds who eagerly cheer him on as he maintains his title as champion.

On the 11th of July last Friday, Riccardi’s accumulated earnings from a seven-day tournament reached an astonishing $182,901 following his victory over medical student Andrew Wang from Winnetka. Riccardi edged out Wang by only $400 to maintain his winning streak. This sum is significantly higher than what many Smash players usually make throughout their entire careers.

For example, MkLeo, who is considered the Greatest of All Time in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, has earned approximately $168,669 from victories at various Super Smash Bros. events, as reported by Liquipedia.

Tweek, who only recently retired, is second on the all-time Ultimate earnings list with $110,756.

In the realm of Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament winnings, there are three players – Hungrybox, Mang0, and Armada – who have earned more than what Biscotto has from Jeopardy, as all three have surpassed $200,000 in tournament earnings.

Was there any question left about it now? After putting everything on the line and pulling off a stunning comeback from 0-3, Biscotto has been crowned the Jeopardy champion for an entire week.

We need to observe how many more games Biscotto can continue winning and if he can beat Ryan Long’s record of 16 games to potentially make it onto Jeopardy’s list of top 10 longest-winning streaks. Ken Jennings currently holds the all-time record with an astounding 74 consecutive wins from 2004.

Outside of the Nintendo platform fighter, it’s not just Biscotto who makes a big impact – in 2022, the main character for Young Link, Zooey Zephyr, won a seat in the Montana House of Representatives.
