Just now, an update for Persona 5: The Phantom X, titled Version 1.1, has surfaced. This new version introduces a variety of engaging banners, opportunities to gather extra tickets, and exciting events. Among the additions, the mission “Metro of Desire” has caught players’ attention. This mission not only lets you battle Shadows in a unique manner but also rewards you handsomely if you manage to win. However, accessing this mode might prove tricky for some. In our guide, we’ll tackle that very issue.
How to unlock Metro of Desire in P5X
In the thrilling world of updates, I’ve found myself captivated by a fresh addition titled “Metro of Desire.” This new mode introduces an engaging twist reminiscent of roguelike games, where I get to decide the train’s course. Along the way, I encounter an array of unexpected events, from intense battles to challenging puzzles that require quick thinking. The journey culminates in a face-off against a formidable final boss. What makes this mode truly exciting is the randomness of the opponents and events (except for the final foe), ensuring each playthrough offers a unique experience and keeps things interesting!
The problem is that many players cannot unlock this mode. The most likely reasons for this are:
- Too low Wonder’s level – in order to be able to unlock the mission and the event, the main requirement is to have level 32 of your protagonist: Wonder. If you don’t have this level, try to complete daily missions or side quests and pore over various activities in Realm of Repression.
- Unfinished 1st Palace – to unlock Metro of Desire, you must complete the first main chapter, which involves completing Kiuchi’s Palace. Probably it is because the new mode takes part in the Mementos Area 2, which is canonically unlocked after this mission. Moreover, the challenge requires a character on a proper level, so it is an additional test of your skills and team.
In the “Events” section, you can quickly locate the “Metro of Desire.” If clicking on “Depart” doesn’t take you to the task, navigate to it via the “Menu,” then select “Missions.” After that, click on the “Side tab” where you’ll find a new mission titled “Metro of Desire.” In this mission, you will need to interact with Lufel who is stationed in Shibuya’s Station Square. Finishing this task not only opens up this mode but also grants you a reward.
