After parting ways with one Emmy award, it seems that Netflix has decided to conclude the journey of the Fab Five. Announcing season 10 as the last, the team (with Bobby replaced by Jeremiah) is set to embark on their final mission – revitalizing Washington D.C., our nation’s capital. A plethora of individuals in need of a makeover reside within this city, and they will be taught how to tone down guyliner, manage shoe lifts, and even learn proper musical theater etiquette. It is intriguing that the choice for their final location comes at a time when political tensions are escalating across the nation.
2022 saw a delightful renewal of “Queer Eye” for another four seasons, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Almost the entire crew, with the exception of Bobby Berk, has agreed to continue their transformative journey. This season, Jeremiah Brent will take on an even larger role as the show’s interior design expert, marking his second season with us, while this will be a decade-long adventure for the rest of the team!
Last year, it was “Shark Tank” that took home the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Structured Reality Program, breaking our unbroken streak in that category – a first for us. But as they say, every loss is a learning opportunity, and we’re ready to bring even more heart, humor, and life-changing moments to our audience!
The cast of “Queer Eye” announced their goodbyes on social media, marking the start of the show’s final season. Tan France posted on Instagram, “First day of filming the FINAL season of Queer Eye… It’s been a long, wonderful journey, and I am grateful for all the love and support our little show has received, transforming my life in ways I could never have imagined.” Antoni Porowski expressed his excitement on his stories, “Let’s make our last one count.” Netflix has not yet announced a premiere date for this final season.
