This implies that you can continue playing online for more than six months from today. As of now, you cannot buy premium in-game currency anymore, but you can still spend your remaining balance until the servers are turned off.

Is it unexpected to anyone that this announcement was made? It appears to me that no, and based on the players’ remarks, a significant number of them weren’t even aware that Anthem was still in development.
