Ever since Fields of Mistria debuted as an early access game last year, this farm-life fantasy RPG has seen two significant updates. Now, the developers at NPC Studio have shared exciting news: Fields of Mistria is set to receive its third major update on July 21, as hinted in a short teaser video they recently released.

In Fields of Mistria’s X account, it’s stated that “romance is coming,” but the game has always had dating and romantic elements. However, new romantic features are being incorporated such as eight heart events for dateable characters and eight different dialogue routes with these NPCs leading to either romance or friendship. Additionally, the maximum number of hearts an NPC can have is increasing from six to eight, and a dating mechanic is being introduced.
On the horizon, we’ve got some fresh, upgraded creature types coming your way, complete with revised monster tactics and the chance to earn cosmetic items from these monsters as rewards! For those who aspire to make their characters admired by the townsfolk, there’s an increase of five levels to the Renown Level cap. Additionally, new museum collections and rewards are in store for you!
The skill caps are significantly increasing from level 45 to level 60, and a fresh festival is coming along with it, plus two new Saturday Market vendors that can be unlocked. Furthermore, aesthetic enhancements will provide players the opportunity to personalize their homes using furniture and decorations, as well as larger storage chests.
