As the lineup of 2025 films approaches, temperatures are rising and the rivalry is intensifying – it’s almost like everyone is in a race to find the next major success. To put it metaphorically, it seems that everyone is running towards the finish line. On a lighter note, The Running Man’s first trailer has left quite an impact on viewers, with Glen Powell’s charm playing a significant role in its appeal.
Despite my deep admiration for our canine pop and grill master, I must share that another cast member in director Edgar Wright’s upcoming film has caught my undivided attention. This individual is none other than Colman Domingo, who not only captivates the audience but has also been known to win over many of his fellow actors as well. The man is truly a scene stealer!
Colman Domingo’s Bobby T Is Born To Be A Scene Stealer
Still mulling over what makes this man’s act so captivating, I realized that Domingo embodies a blend of Samuel L. Jackson’s dramatic flair and Denzel Washington’s weighty presence. It doesn’t mean either of these great actors couldn’t pull off a switch in roles, but the Bobby T character seems to strike the ideal balance between them.
In the latest Empire interview, filmmaker Edgar Wright’s story lends credence to this belief and beyond. He reminisced about publicly endorsing Colman Domingo for an Oscar in 2025, which unexpectedly turned into a thrilling behind-the-scenes instance: proof of the campaign’s validity.
He was in the midst of promoting for the Oscars. In fact, I announced his BAFTA nomination [for Sing Sing] on stage. And he skillfully handled the crowd as if they were in the palm of his hand. While it’s not typically an actor’s role to energize the extras, it was awe-inspiring to watch him direct the audience.
It’s clear as day that this describes why Colman Domingo had his lively Oscars dance party during one of the commercial breaks in 2025. Essentially, hosting such an event is part of the role, similar to being The Running Man host. With 300 extras from Edgar Wright’s film filling the audience, it seems that keeping everyone engaged was a piece of cake.
It’s common for such a large-scale production to be influenced by such charm as well. Indeed, it’s not just the supporting actors or the director who have been captivated by the Philadelphia native on this project. Get ready for more applause because Katy O’Brian has some kind words for the outstanding Colman D too!

Katy O’Brian Just Got Me Even More Hyped For Colman Domingo’s Running Man Madman
It’s high time we arrange a pay increase for Ms. O’Brian, immediately. Whether it involves adjustments in budget or creative solutions, the marketing team must issue a payment to the star of “Love Lies Bleeding” since she’s been actively promoting Colman Domingo’s upcoming appearance on social media. Earlier, the actress from “The Running Man” generated excitement among fans by saying that the trailer is so powerful it makes her face hurt.
In my opinion, the execution team for “Running Man” has truly impressed me so far. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, Katy O’Brian added even more excitement with a tweet that further highlights Mr. Domingo’s skills.
You couldn’t possibly be ready for this level of slay.
You simply can’t purchase the level of excitement this trailer evokes, and it consistently draws me back to it. If by chance you haven’t seen that video yet, I salute your patience for sticking with me this far. As a token of appreciation, feast your eyes on this delightfully eccentric glimpse into Bobby T and the realm of The Running Man:
(Note: The phrase “beautifully bonkers” has been used to describe the video as being both charmingly insane and visually appealing. It’s a colloquial term that conveys excitement for an entertaining, out-of-the-ordinary experience.)
Admittedly, our “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” crushers have hit the mark squarely. Frankly, I don’t believe even I or anyone else could anticipate the intensity of “such an impressive performance” from The Running Man and Colman Domingo, particularly. There’s still ample opportunity to ready ourselves for this spectacle, as the movie led by Glen Powell is slated to hit theaters on November 7th.
