Absolutely, Ringo Starr is maintaining a rhythm in line with the upcoming four-part biopic series of The Beatles in cinemas, titled “The Beatles Extended Universe.” According to the New York Times, Starr, who will be portrayed by Barry Keoghan in the films, collaborated closely with director Sam Mendes for two days to fine-tune his film’s script. Starr provided detailed feedback to ensure it accurately depicted his early life, focusing on aspects such as his family and first marriage to Maureen Starkey Tigrett. “He was a great writer,” Starr said, “but the story had nothing to do with Maureen and me. That’s not how we were. I would say, ‘We wouldn’t have done that.'” Despite this, Starr remains uncertain if the series will be released in early 2028 as planned. “He’ll keep doing what he does,” Starr said of Mendes, “and I’ll send him peace and love.” Previously, Starr announced Keoghan’s casting, with Keoghan later sharing they had a pleasant meeting at Starr’s home to share stories.
