McDonald’s celebrates McMuffin’s 50th anniversary with new spicy breakfast sandwiches

On July 8, McDonald’s is set to roll out a fresh selection of zesty breakfast sandwiches across the country. This exciting launch comes exactly two days prior to the anticipated comeback of a beloved treat.

Year-round, McDonald’s consistently updates their menu, ensuring it remains vibrant and varied, not just within the U.S., but globally as well.

In May, the company introduced its latest McCrispy Strips, while curly fries were added to the international menu at their Chicago headquarters’ store starting from July.

To mark the 50th anniversary of the McMuffin, they’ve added a fresh addition to their best-selling breakfast menu as part of the celebration.

McDonald’s set to launch spicy McMuffin

The updated selection of Spicy McMuffins is an expansion upon the classic Egg McMuffin, featuring a blend of melted cheese, Canadian bacon, and a farm-fresh egg nestled between two buttery and toasted English muffins.

In the revamped edition, they’ve included the distinctive flavor of our company’s Hot Pepper Sauce, elevating the sandwich’s spice level. The Spicy Sausage McMuffin options now come with this zesty sauce and a juicy sausage patty. One option even includes a sunny-side-up egg for an added touch.

Additionally, you’ll find other menu options also incorporate the Spicy Pepper Sauce. The McDonald’s Spicy McCrispy Chicken Sandwich was the initial item to utilize this sauce, and the forthcoming Spicy version of the Snack Wrap will follow suit.

McDonald’s has verified that every egg incorporated into their sandwiches in the U.S. is entirely sourced from cage-free farms. These fresh offerings can be enjoyed during regular breakfast service, albeit for a brief period.

This new breakfast release comes on July 8, just two days ahead of the return of the Snack Wrap.
