Destiny 2 The Edge Of Fate Raid Race Start Date, Duration, And Epic Raid Details

During a recent live stream from Destiny 2 developers, they’ve announced the commencement date for the “Edge of Fate” raid race, hinting at potential modifications to the conventional raid race format that gamers are accustomed to.

In recent expansions, Guardians have been given 48 hours to finish the Contest Mode raid race, starting from the day after the expansion launch. Contest Mode is a temporary version of the race that becomes accessible as soon as the raid goes live. It features increased challenge with lower damage output, tougher enemies, and the need for precise team coordination and strategy. This time, however, the start date for these events will be different from the usual pattern.

The Edge of Fate raid race will begin on Saturday, July 19.

We assume that it will still begin at the daily reset time, but this has not been confirmed.

Two weeks after the first release of the raid, they will roll out an updated version called the Epic Raid. This enhanced version will provide additional story elements and new content. Bungie clarified that the base version of the raid won’t be lacking in any way to make room for the Epic Raid; instead, it will enrich the overall raid experience.

If you’re curious about getting ready for the upcoming race in the brief span of four days after the expansion’s rollout, Bungie advises finishing the main story on Legendary mode to reach the suggested Power level.

Preparation of Guardians could be amplified by gearing up with stronger equipment. This enhanced gear may drop from tougher levels, offering increased advantages upon completion of challenging tasks. The introduction of fresh Exotics, armor sets, and modifications promises an exciting competition in the raid race.
