„Mentally, I’m here.” Ubisoft continues to torment Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag fans with teasers

A new update from Ubisoft sparks optimism among gamers about the potential revival of the pirate-themed chapter in the Assassin’s Creed series.

Fans of the Assassin’s series continue to speculate about a possible remake of The Black Flag, despite Ubisoft (the French publisher) not officially confirming it. Additionally, the actor who voiced the main character in the fourth Assassin’s Creed game has hinted at something in June, further fueling these assumptions.

Without a doubt, it didn’t stop there. The franchise’s account on X shared another hint aimed at Edward Kenway enthusiasts. A video featuring Matt Ryan, who played the lead in Black Flag, has surfaced online. Interestingly, Ubisoft’s French division posted something that directly references Assassin’s Creed IV with the caption “Mentally, I’m here” (via X).

The players swiftly picked up on the hint, and it appears their eagerness is waning. Users online are pleading, urging, and clamoring for Ubisoft to confirm the remake already, and it would be ideal if they did so (or perhaps even launched it, similar to how Bethesda released Oblivion). However, at this point, the French company has yet to grant their requests, and gamers can merely hold out hope that these sneak peeks are indeed trailers for the unveiling of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Remake.
