As we count down the remaining hours before episodes 4-6 of Ironheart become available on Disney Plus, a significant plot twist from the series has inadvertently surfaced as a spoiler – an event that many fans have speculated about for quite some time.
Introduced first in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the Marvel series focuses on Riri Williams, a brilliant young inventor, expelled from MIT. With a need for money to support her technology, she seeks help from The Hood, an individual with enigmatic, supernatural abilities.
The final part carries significant weight, given the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s exploration of magic through characters like Doctor Strange, the Scarlet Witch, and Agatha Harkness.
Since the airing of WandaVision, fans have been eagerly anticipating the appearance of a specific villain – “prepare to quiver with fear.
Mephisto is coming in Ironheart Episodes 4-6
Based on a critique from The Telegraph, it is revealed that Sacha Baron Cohen will portray Mephisto in the latter part of Ironheart’s series run.
The review states that it’s been some time since Sacha Baron Cohen’s appearance has elicited more than a casual shrug of disinterest.
However, it’s him who captivates in this setting, effortlessly, given the role is a theatrical portrayal of the classic villain, the Devil, disguised as Mephisto, one of his many evil personas.
For people who aren’t familiar with Mephisto, he is essentially Marvel Comics’ portrayal of the Devil, ruler of Hell. He debuted in Silver Surfer #3 back in 1968 and has often clashed with characters like the Fantastic Four and other superheroes. Later on, he developed a contentious relationship with the Scarlet Witch, who might reappear in the MCU through the storyline “Vision Quest,” following her unknowingly giving birth to his children using fragments of his soul.

Various sources such as scoopers, leakers, and enthusiasts have been speculating the arrival of Mephisto in the series Ironheart since as early as 2023. According to The Telegraph, Mephisto embodies Danny Dyer’s accent combined with Victorian-era facial accessories, and is said to have a flamboyant style that suggests he was dropped into Ironheart from an over-the-top, alien planet.
Mephisto gives a boost to a performance that frequently becomes slow and heavy… If Mephisto had confronted Ironheart sooner, the show could have been one worth salvaging.” (This maintains the original meaning while making it more accessible for readers.)
In their interview with ET Online, Thorne and Ramos hinted strongly, but not explicitly, that the character of Mephisto would likely appear. When asked if we’ve seen the last of “him” (meaning Mephisto), they didn’t confirm it outright.
Thorne expressed his doubts but also hopefulness, saying, “I don’t believe it will be our final encounter with him… But if I learned anything, it was a fantastic motivation when I found out he’d be appearing in Ironheart.
Absolutely, we’re well aware of how eagerly and patiently the fans have been anticipating this. It’s a thrill to see him finally appear in this series. Let’s dive in!
Ramos added: “He’s one of the elite actors of our time too.”
