As a passionate supporter, I’m sharing that a person who claims to be one of Johnny Somali’s alleged victims has submitted a court petition seeking the harshest penalty possible, given the ongoing trial.
As Ramsey Khalid Ismael, better known as gaming persona Johnny Somali, I’m currently standing trial in South Korea due to some questionable actions during my live streams within the country. Allegations include hindering local businesses and producing Deepfakes featuring fellow content creators.
As a devoted follower, I can share that so far, he’s admitted his guilt in two cases of Obstructing Business and two instances of breaching the Minor Crimes Act. However, concerning some Deepfake allegations, he has maintained his innocence. It is said that more charges might be forthcoming.
On June 30th, YouTube content creator Legal Mindset, known for sharing and updating information regarding the Somali case, disclosed that one of Somali’s accused victims has submitted a petition, potentially leading to further incarceration for the streamer.
Alleged Johnny Somali victim files court petition for “severe punishment”
As per Legal Mindset’s report, it was someone other than Streamer BongBong who filed the petition, against whom Somali is alleged to have created Deepfakes.
Instead, it could be a person from a bus that was held up because of Somali’s actions, or a parent at Lotte World theme park who overheard the streamer using a text-to-speech system, allegedly stating his intention to perform inappropriate acts towards children.

To support their claim, the petition demands that the affected party provides evidence showing harm inflicted upon them, demonstrates where Somali fell short in resolving conflicts, shows proof of absence of remorse, and ensures all assertions are grounded in facts rather than feelings.
Should the petition meet legal standards and if Somali is proven guilty, he will face the maximum possible penalty.
With the filing of the petition, Somali initially faced a minimum of six months in prison for Obstruction of Business and Deepfake charges. However, after the petition, the potential sentence has significantly increased to a minimum of four years and three months.
Beyond the current predicament, Ismael also faces another serious issue: The legal proceedings against the creator for alleged child sexual harassment are moving swiftly. This case carries a significant penalty, including a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, either with forced labor or a fine totaling up to 50 million Won ($36,200 USD).
Given the recent information, mark your calendars for Somali’s next court date on August 13, 2025. This date is likely to be quite busy due to the extensive testimony scheduled for that day.
