Every MCU Disney+ Series Releasing After Ironheart (2025 & Beyond)

The newest Marvel streaming series, “Ironheart”, has just debuted on Disney+, but its run won’t last too long as it is being released in two parts. Consequently, fans will find themselves waiting once again for another Marvel series to enjoy after July 1st. Fortunately, Disney+ has a number of additional MCU content lined up for release throughout the year.

2025 has proven to be a remarkable year for Marvel on Disney+ so far, thanks to the debuts of “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” and “Daredevil: Born Again,” which have given the platform a strong start. Now, “Ironheart” has joined the lineup, promising an engaging future for the MCU. Moreover, Disney+ is still gearing up for more Marvel TV shows in the near future.

Every MCU Series Releasing After Ironheart

Eyes of Wakanda

After the summer blockbuster Marvel movie, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps“, comes next the animated miniseries, “Eyes of Wakanda“. This series, styled like an anthology, focuses on Wakandan warriors embarking on a mission to recover Vibranium artifacts across various time periods, in a story reminiscent of espionage.

On August 6th, it has been unveiled that the upcoming project for the Marvel Cinematic Universe is titled “Eyes of Wakanda” and could potentially feature some unexpected characters making an appearance.

Marvel Zombies

The 2025-released Marvel animated series other than Marvel Zombies is only one – Marvel Zombies. This spin-off from the “What If…? Zombies” episode adopts a similar animation style to narrate the story of MCU heroes who have managed to survive in a zombie apocalypse, where they must fight against both their undead friends and foes.

Just as in the show “What If…?”, several Marvel Cinematic Universe actors will lend their voices to portray their characters in the upcoming “Marvel Zombies”. This includes Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, and Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch. The show is scheduled to debut on October 3.

Wonder Man

This upcoming year’s final Marvel Cinematic Universe series, titled “Wonder Man,” will debut in December. The mini-series, co-created by Andrew Guest and Destin Daniel Cretton, who also worked on “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” follows Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as an underdog actor with superpowers who tries out for a part in a superhero television program. Assisting him is the well-known Mandarin actor from the MCU, Trevor Slattery, portrayed by Ben Kingsley.

Under the “Spotlight” label, Wonder Man is set to become the second series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that doesn’t require extensive knowledge of the broader cinematic universe for viewers to enjoy.

Vision Quest

The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Disney+ adventure initiated by “WandaVision” in 2021 carries on into the year 2026, with the series titled “Vision Quest“. This upcoming show is anticipated to be the second sequel to Wanda and Vision’s standalone series following “Agatha All Along“, and as the title implies, “Vision Quest” will likely delve into the story of the White Vision (who viewers were introduced to in “WandaVision“) as he embarks on a mission to recover his lost memories.

It has been disclosed in recent updates that various AI characters such as Ultron, FRIDAY, and EDITH will reappear in the series “Vision Quest“. Consequently, “Vision Quest” is not only a continuation of “WandaVision“, but it also ties back to “Avengers: Age of Ultron“.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2

The production of “Daredevil: Born Again” was already gaining momentum before the first season had even concluded its airing. This bold move ultimately proved fruitful following the show’s success, ensuring that fans won’t have a long wait until 2026 for the second season to be released.

In the next season of the Netflix Marvel series, Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprise their roles as the dual characters Daredevil and Kingpin. But this time around, Daredevil will have an additional ally in Krysten Ritter’s character Jessica Jones, who makes her first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 & 3

In a refreshing turn of events, Marvel Studios’ latest animated series titled Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man has been granted not just one but two more seasons even before its premiere. This unique take on the Peter Parker origin story, set in an alternate universe, introduces some intriguing variations to the character’s comic book lore. It brings into play iconic Marvel characters and adversaries that Spider-Man wouldn’t usually encounter, enriching his narrative with their presence.

It appears that “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” might become Marvel’s inaugural annual series, with the second season anticipated for release in 2026, followed by a third season the year after.

X-Men ’97 Season 2

The revival of Marvel’s popular 1990s animated X-Men series, titled “X-Men ’97,” has been successful, mirroring the original in style, essence, and music. With Season 2 of “X-Men ’97” reportedly completed, news about its release date may surface soon.

In Season 2 of X-Men ’97, it’s anticipated that several beloved mutant characters will reappear alongside some fresh faces, including Polaris, who is the daughter of Magneto.
