After the widespread popularity of “Manchild”, Sabrina Carpenter is stepping into a new phase for her upcoming album titled Man’s Best Friend. Following some discussions about its cover artwork, the pop star has shifted from her usual glamorous, shimmery style to a more formal appearance at a Dior men’s fashion show in Paris last Friday, and I can’t get enough of it.
Sabrina Carpenter’s Look At The Dior Paris Fashion Show Means Business
It seems as though Sabrina Carpenter can’t fail at anything. Not only has she composed some of the most captivating tunes from the past year, but she is also among our top choices to host SNL. To add to this impressive list, she was recently spotted in Paris wearing a refined yet stylish ensemble:
It seems that the “Legally Blonde” prequel series has already cast Elle Woods, but doesn’t this singer appear as if she has just won a court case and is waving triumphantly at the media? The star of “Espresso” was dazzling in a coordinated gray outfit consisting of a tailored blazer with a belt and a pleated knee-length skirt. She accessorized with a petite black Lady Dior handbag, carried a nude pair of heels, and completed the look effortlessly.
As a passionate cinephile, I had the privilege of attending Carpenter’s debut Dior fashion show, an event that Elle Magazine highlighted. The star-studded affair brought together some of Hollywood’s biggest names such as Robert Pattinson, Daniel Craig, Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, and A$AP Rocky. It was truly a night to remember!
Sabrina Carpenter’s Side Part Moment Proves The Millennial Trend Is Back
Reflecting on Sabrina Carpenter’s latest style, it’s the deep side part that truly completes her unexpected transformation. Typically, we associate Sabrina with those stunning, cascading curtain bangs she rocked in the “Manchild” music video, where they framed her natural curls so beautifully. Her captivating bangs also graced her sultry Rolling Stone cover, a shot that showcased nothing but tall socks and long tresses draped around her.
As someone on the cusp of Millennial and Gen Z, I’ve been very confused about where we are as a culture when it comes to the side part, which was very much in fashion when I was growing up. Recently, a lot more celebrities have been turning up with it. Bella Hadid looked amazing in a side part at Cannes last month (via Instagram), and Ayo Edebiri has served in the style as well (check out her SNL50 red carpet on Instagram as well).
Sabrina Carpenter has sported the side part hairstyle before, most recently during her Barbiecore phase earlier this year. I hadn’t thought it was possible to style curtain bangs like that, but it gives her a fresh, girly look and allows her to pin up her hair with an adorable black barrette, perfectly complementing the Dior fashion statement.
In her lively track on the extended edition of her album, “Short n Sweet,” the carpenter is recognized as a “Hardworking Lady.” This tune clearly indicates their dedication to their craft.
