The action in Street Fighter 6 is getting hotter, as Capcom is preparing for the summer season by unveiling a series of beachwear outfits for characters like Chun-Li, Cammy, Jamie, and others.
As summer approaches and the mercury rises, the developers of Street Fighter 6 are preparing seven of their seasoned fighters for some sunbathing action. Rather than pausing their punching spree, gamers will soon have the opportunity to unleash havoc in style with some fashionable beach attire.
On June 26 during the Capcom Spotlight livestream, developers unveiled that Sagat will join the growing roster on August 5. However, it’s the announcement of Outfit 4 DLC that has fans looking in a different direction.
Street Fighter 6 swimsuit outfits revealed
It’s noted in a post by Street Fighter director and designer Takayuki Nakayama that Cammy and Chun-Li’s costumes share a strong resemblance with the attire depicted in the original Street Fighter II illustrations.
Instead, Chun-Li’s gold accessories have been swapped out for a coordinating blue design that harmonizes beautifully with her blue one-piece bathing suit.
Currently, Cammy wears a white belt and seems to have a phone holder on her leg. Let’s hope she takes it off before swimming, as forgetting might result in an unexpected promotion to a higher belt level sooner than planned.
In the meantime, Luke is showing off his own version of Baywatch charm (stepping up, David Hasselhoff), as he dons bright orange swim trunks and stylish sunglasses.
In contrast to him, his opponent, Jamie, chose a more conventional style, adorning it with an eye-catching dragon motif and a golden gourd (bearing in mind that staying hydrated is crucial).
