Monster Hunter Wilds second title update is adding in Lagiacrus from Monster Hunter 3 when it arrives next week

Even though Summer Game Fest has officially concluded, I can’t help but get excited when Capcom unveils their own Spotlight! Naturally, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, the latest title update for Monster Hunter Wilds, was front and center. Here’s a quick rundown of what we can expect:

The second title update is brimming with new content, just as we’ve come to expect from Capcom. Let’s dive in!

Two formidable monsters are set to enter the action game in the upcoming update, scheduled for release on June 30th. First is Lagiacrus, a large, electric-powered creature resembling a crocodile-dragon hybrid, who was the main monster in Monster Hunter 3. I expect him to be quite popular. Additionally, Seregios from Monster Hunter 4 will also join the fray; this swift, partially flying monster bears a striking resemblance to Chocobo.

This way, I’ve tried to maintain the original meaning while making the text more conversational and easier to read.

On July 23rd, we celebrate the Festival of Accord: Flamefete! During this special, temporary occasion, our central area will be beautifully adorned, giving you an opportunity to obtain various items such as equipment, emotes, and more.

Back in the early part of this year, I was thrilled to learn about a special Fender guitar themed after the Monster Hunter series, launched to mark its anniversary. Now, from August 27th to September 24th, an incredible opportunity arises for players like me: the chance to obtain a gesture that lets us strum some killer tunes with a virtual replica of that very guitar within the game itself! Isn’t it amazing how video games continue to push the boundaries?

In addition to what has been mentioned, you’ll have the opportunity to acquire additional outfits, free downloadable content including dance moves, paid DLC featuring a new cosmetic pack, as well as layered weapons. You can also switch your travel companions from Alma to Erik, and a new character named Mina, who is a sword and shield support hunter, will be introduced into the game. Furthermore, you’ll be able to select which support hunters accompany you on missions. Title update 3 is expected around late September, though an exact release date has not been announced yet.

It’s worth mentioning that the action game Monster Hunter Wilds is currently reduced on Steam due to their summer sale. This means you can get it for 20% off, bringing the price down from £60 to £48. While this isn’t a small savings, keep in mind that the game was released this year, so it might not run smoothly on all systems. But if you’re interested, grab the deal while you can!
