CD Projekt Red has chosen to postpone the release of the previously announced update 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077. The team from Poland is taking additional time to ensure the upcoming patch is top-notch in quality. As of now, we don’t have a new date set for when this patch will be released.
Originally, we planned to deliver Update 2.3 to you on June 26th. But, we find ourselves requiring some additional time to ensure that it meets our standards – we’re aiming for a scale comparable to Update 2.2. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we have more information!
In simple terms, the developers have hinted that the next update will be about as big as the last one (Patch 2.2). This latest update introduced numerous fresh aspects to gameplay. For instance, it could include expanded camera options in photo mode, more customization possibilities for characters in the character creator, or even a brand new job/mission.
As a dedicated fan, I eagerly await the formal unveiling of what’s in store for us in update 2.3 from the studio. Here’s hoping that the extended development period results in an enhanced gaming experience within Night City, offering even more enticing reasons to revisit this captivating virtual metropolis.
The game titled “Cyberpunk 2077” has recently been launched on the Nintendo Switch 2 as well. While sales of games not produced by the Japanese company for this specific device are typically average, the Polish-made version for NS2 has garnered significant popularity and is selling quite well.
