Terraria Invades Palworld Later This Month

In simple terms, it’s been announced that Terraria is set to join the universe of Palworld through a significant update. This update is slated to release on June 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC platforms. The news has been shared by the game’s developers, Pocketpair.

The upcoming update will offer a range of material, such as fresh islands and characters from Terraria. Instead of providing all the details at once, Pocketpair plans to reveal these contents gradually, daily, across their social media platforms for the following week.

In simple terms, Pocketpair announced that players can treat creatures from Terraria just like any other animal in Palworld. At the moment, you can grab Palworld at a 25% discount on both Steam and the PlayStation Store.

Since its debut in early 2024, Palworld hasn’t teamed up with any other games for a crossover event. Among the potential partners, Terraria stands out as a popular choice for Pocketpair to collaborate with for this update. Launched in 2011, this sandbox adventure game has managed to maintain a significant presence, boasting over 30,000 simultaneous players on Steam even 14 years later.

In a legal dispute with Nintendo, the game Palworld is accused of violating Nintendo’s patented gameplay features. As part of this ongoing lawsuit, Palworld has already made adjustments such as eliminating the feature that allows players to summon creatures using Pal Spheres. Further modifications to both gameplay and artwork are anticipated as the legal process unfolds.
