Cooperative games offer an excellent opportunity for social interaction and fun with friends. Games such as Human: Fall Flat or POPUCOM serve as fine illustrations of this concept. Recently, a captivating new game titled Peak emerged on PC (regrettably, it’s not accessible on consoles at the moment). As its name implies, Peak revolves around scaling the summit of a mountain. To accomplish this goal, you and your teammates must collaborate (or opt for the offline single-player mode). Since this is an inherently perilous endeavor, characters may occasionally meet their demise. Given such circumstances, let’s discuss how to navigate these challenges.
The purpose of Cursed Skull in Peak
In Peak, you’ll come across numerous intriguing artifacts that could aid you in various ways. One of the most extraordinary relics is the infamous Cursed Skull. This artifact resuscitates your nearby fallen teammates, removes all status afflictions, and fully restores their vitality. Yet, there’s a trade-off – the user of this item will perish in its place. Indeed, it bears the dreaded curse as its name suggests.
In summary, the Cursed Skull is useful when many of your companions have perished. By sacrificing yourself, you create a larger team and potentially enhance your chances of triumph. Nevertheless, it’s not the perfect solution since there are other options to resurrect fallen comrades. Yet, in dire circumstances, the Cursed Skull might prove advantageous.
How to revive in Peak?
or
Earlier I mentioned that there are multiple ways to bring you and your team back to life. Now seems like a good moment to explore those methods:
- The easiest of them is to use an item called Effigy. However, you must keep in mind that you can use it once, so be careful not to use it by accident. It’s quite rare, so getting another one may be a problem.
- From time to time, you will find Campfires. There are Altars next to them. If you interact with them, they can revive the team.
- Additionally, at the peak of each region, you will find a Temple that works the same way as Altars.
From my gaming perspective, I don’t flinch at the sight of fallen comrades. I’ve always got a trick up my sleeve to bring them back into the fray.
