Enthusiasts of Supergiant Games studio’s game can barely contain their excitement – with the recent update, Hades 2 is moving a big step forward towards its full release. The Unseen Update is brimming with fresh content and enhancements that bring us nearer to version 1.0. The developers have openly discussed entering the final stage of development, which includes wrapping up Melinoë’s story, adding achievements, and making the finishing touches.

  1. Thanks to the update, the protagonist’s main arsenal received new (final) fighting styles that can be unlocked. The system of using the Umbral Flames weapon has also been refreshed.
  2. In Oath of the Unseen, we can face stronger guardians after using the Vow of Rivals.
  3. Challenges will be facilitated by Godsent Hexes, which allow us to strengthen the magic of Selene’s curses with the power of Olympians.
  4. The creators have shortened the time between enemy waves in regular battles. Also, the close-range attacks we perform are no longer blocked by some obstacles, so they hit the enemies hiding behind them. Many hits that used to stun our character have also changed – from now on, they only slow her down.
  5. The Unseen Update introduces optional events, allowing players to strengthen bonds with some characters from the game world.
