Influencer calls police on husband for making her do chores instead of creating content

On Instagram, an influencer accused her spouse of reporting him to the authorities because he asked her to prioritize household tasks over creating content.

The influencer, going by the name ‘Nisha,’ is based out of Uttar Pradesh, a state in India.

According to reports from The Deccan Herald, a renowned Indian news source, it appears she posted two reels on Instagram every day and paid close attention to her follower count. In fact, whenever she noticed a decrease of two followers, she attributed it to her spouse.

Nisha quickly submitted a formal report to the police, stating that her husband was hindering her progress as a social media influencer by encouraging her to focus on household chores instead.

She mentioned that her follower count dropped because she was occupied with household chores such as washing dishes and cleaning the house, which were assigned by her husband. This left her with little time to create reels.

In response, her spouse submitted a rebuttal, informing the authorities that she was preoccupied with Instagram instead of maintaining the house, and even hinted at potential separation if she wasn’t permitted to continue posting online.

According to police reports, Nisha chose to live with her parents after a disagreement with her husband, but it appears the situation has now been resolved.

According to Aruna Rai, who is in charge at the Women’s Police Station, the issue has been settled, and the woman has gone back to her husband.

Nevertheless, life isn’t perfect bliss since they reconciled. According to News18’s report in Hindi, Nisha’s spouse has unfortunately lost his job due to the court case, and it’s said that they are still residing apart.

According to the source, her spouse has taken to visiting homes in search of a fresh job opportunity, and neither of them agreed to discuss their widely-shared dispute when approached about it.
