Dark Horse Direct, in collaboration with Naughty Dog, introduces a new piece for their expanding line of The Last of Us collectibles and figurines. This figure depicts Ellie and Joel, portraying their likeness from towards the finale of the University of Eastern Colorado expedition as shown in the original game.

This colossal statue is available for preorder and will ship sometime in Q2 2026.

Ellie sits on Callus, sporting her distinctive striped hoodie and backpack adorned with her famous pins. Callus is meticulously crafted, from the worn saddle to the reins, right down to the ‘J’ brand on their leg given by Jackson County. Accompanying them is Joel, who moves with a sense of earthiness, carrying his rifle and pistol securely at hand.

The foundation appears to be straight out of the game itself, featuring worn-out, weathered concrete stairs and a Fireflies insignia spray-painted on. Subtle additions like scattered autumn leaves, moss, and growing cordyceps at the base give it a realistic touch.

This statue, only available in 1,000 pieces, is one of their larger items, standing 13 inches tall, 12 inches wide, and 12.75 inches deep. With a price tag of $350, it may be more suitable for dedicated The Last of Us fans, considering additional costs for shipping and taxes can push the cost close to $400. If that seems too expensive, Dark Horse also offers separate Ellie and Joel bust statues priced at $150 each, which are currently available for pre-order as well.

HBO’s series “The Last of Us” has concluded its second season, but the release date for Season 3 remains undisclosed as of now. Meanwhile, Naughty Dog is working on a secretive project that could potentially be “The Last of Us Part 3”, although this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
