2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Marvel fans as Ironheart prepares to hit our screens! As a die-hard movie buff, I can’t help but wonder what lies ahead for Riri Williams in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While there’s been plenty of speculation about this, one thing that’s clear is the warm reception the upcoming series has received from an iconic figure – none other than Robert Downey Jr., aka Iron Man himself!
Recently, he extended his support to Dominique Thorne, our leading lady in Ironheart, through a heartwarming video message. It was truly inspiring to see their interaction, and it’s safe to say that Dominique was touched by the gesture. Kudos to both of them for setting a great example of camaraderie within the Marvel family!
Dominique Thorne and her Ironheart co-star Anthony Ramos recently appeared on Good Morning America to discuss their new series. During the interview, Robin Roberts played a pre-recorded message from Robert Downey Jr., who congratulated them warmly and jokingly expressed concern that Ramos’ character might take over his role as the main villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since then, it’s clear that Downey has been a supporter of this rising star throughout her career journey.
