Battlefield 6 Reveal Still Happening This Summer, EA Assures

EA is still set on disclosing Battlefield 6 this summer; however, the specific date for the reveal has yet to be determined.

On social media, someone inquired about a possible June unveiling of Battlefield 6. In response, EA’s Andy McNamara stated, “We’ll let the community know when the big day is approaching. Right now, we’re working on Labs and getting ready for the summer reveal.

Electronic Arts (EA) has not explicitly confirmed that Battlefield 6 will be announced in June; they merely mentioned that the game would be revealed some time during summer. While many speculated that the announcement could coincide with other video game events in June, it remains uncertain if the unveiling will indeed occur then.

In the northern hemisphere, autumn officially begins on September 22nd, however, it’s not anticipated that Electronic Arts (EA) will hold off until then to unveil Battlefield 6. Instead, an early reveal is more likely.

A multitude of gameplay previews and information about Battlefield 6 have surfaced from the testing phase at Battlefield Labs, but everything shown is still under development and subject to change. The title, yet unnamed, is expected to launch by March 2026, though with Grand Theft Auto 6 delayed until 2026, some speculate that EA could take advantage of the delay and release Battlefield 6 this year. Whether this will happen or not remains uncertain, but EA has expressed a desire to avoid rushing the game’s launch to prevent another scenario like Battlefield 2042 from arising.

You’re welcome to enroll in the Battlefield Labs trial program, giving you an opportunity to play the game ahead of its official release. EA has expressed intentions to broaden the testing scope to accommodate more users gradually. So, even if you didn’t make it this time, there’s a possibility that you might be chosen for a future test.
