Minecraft’s New Update Lets Players Go Flying And Adds Vibrant Visuals

Since its debut in 2009, Minecraft has undergone several enhancements over the years. Today, it’s receiving yet another makeover with Vibrant Visuals, a fresh cosmetic redesign for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Eventually, this visual upgrade will also be available for Minecraft: Java Edition. For now, the latest update, Chase the Skies, is being launched today across all platforms.

In Chase the Skies, gamers can uncover shriveled ghasts within the Nether and rejuvenate them by submerging them in water. Once reborn, these creatures can be tended to and nurtured until they become content ghasts. After this transformation, players can climb aboard their content ghasts and soar through the skies of the Overworld for exciting adventures, as demonstrated in the trailer below.

With the Chase the Skies update, a handy Locator tool has been added to aid multiplayer participants in locating their friends. Additionally, Amos Roddy has contributed six fresh tunes – Lilypad, Below and Above, O’s Piano, Broken Clocks, Fireflies, and an updated rendition of Tears. These melodies will resonate across all Overworld landscapes; however, the only method for players to acquire Tears is by a ghast retrieving it following an unconventional victory.

Players will now have the option to create their own saddles, eliminating the need for them to search for ready-made ones in the future.

Speaking of Minecraft updates, the game has introduced baseball-themed fan caves in collaboration with Major League Baseball. Notably, the Minecraft Movie, one of the most successful films this year with earnings exceeding $800 million globally, will be streaming on Max starting June 20, and it’s HBO premiere is scheduled for June 21.
