Video creator and live-streamer Vitaly was taken into custody in the Philippines back in April 2025, where he remains imprisoned following a string of contentious live streams.
Boasting over 10 million subscribers on YouTube and numerous followers on Kick, the popular Russian online personality known as Vitaly has earned his reputation through sharing videos and live streams featuring pranks on unsuspecting individuals.
In several real-life stream broadcasts in April, Vitaly Zdorovetskiy seemed to disturb locals, take items without permission, make an attempt to kiss a security officer, among other questionable actions.
On April 2, 2025, he was apprehended by Philippine officials, allegedly acting on instructions from the Bureau of Immigration, as a result of his disturbing behavior. Since then, he has been kept in detention.
In just a few short weeks, Undersecretary Donnie Puno of the Department of the Interior and Local Government disclosed that Vitaly admitted to the alleged offenses.
Vitaly facing months in jail
Following his apprehension, it became known that Vitaly might spend the next three years in a sweltering cell without air conditioning, which some have likened to a prison inferno.
In June, Legal Mindset on YouTube obtained fresh information suggesting that Vitaly’s lawyer had applied for the opportunity to bail him out of prison. Additionally, it was disclosed that instead of the initially reported three-year sentence, Vitaly might serve no more than 18 months in jail at the maximum.

It’s clear that he’s noticeably thinner now compared to how he used to be. The reduction in weight and muscle has significantly altered his facial structure.

Vitaly has not had an opportunity to address the accusations of wrongdoing leveled against him thus far, but Philippine President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has expressed his opinions regarding the YouTuber’s behavior.
