As a gaming enthusiast, I’m sure many of you recognize Moya O’Sullivan Lim from her iconic role in Dark Souls. However, her career, spanning over five decades, is richer and more diverse than that. She rose to fame in the UK with her appearance in the Doctor Who serial, Mind of Evil, which aired back in 1971. Her portrayal in the British military drama Spearhead also left an indelible mark. Although primarily recognized for her television roles, she graced a few silver screens as well, such as the 2011 comedy Johnny English Reborn.

80-year-old Malaysian-born actress Pik-Sen Lim, widely recognized for her part in the sitcom ‘Mind Your Language,’ passed away on Monday. In this popular show, she played the character Chung Su-Lee, earning fame both in Britain and Malaysia.

Lim was born in Penang, then part of Malaysia, in 1944 while the country was under Japanese occupation during wartime. At the age of 16, she relocated to London to study theater. Her daughter, Sara Houghton, is another actress who has featured in various Doctor Who episodes.
