On Wednesday, June 18th at 6 AM Pacific Time (9 AM Eastern Time), you can catch the Donkey Kong Bananza Direct live stream on both the Nintendo YouTube and Twitch channels. This event promises around fifteen minutes of exclusive insights into the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game, as revealed in the official announcement on the Nintendo Today app.
This Nintendo Direct, held since the April presentation about the Switch 2, served as a comprehensive unveiling of the new console, showcasing its fresh features, games, and complementary items. The stream presented titles such as The Duskbloods from From Software, Kirby Air Riders, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment.
In the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct event, Donkey Kong Bananza marked the concluding announcement. This is the initial 3D platforming adventure featuring Donkey Kong since Donkey Kong 64. The trailer unveiled at the event depicts Donkey Kong smashing opponents, tunneling through soil, and other activities.
The video game, Donkey Kong Bananza, is scheduled for release on July 17, and it will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2. If you’re interested, pre-orders can be made right now at various online stores.
