As Superman approaches within a month’s time, a passionate fan of the Snyderverse attempted to mobilize others to spoil the upcoming film and bombard it with negative reviews, yet James Gunn remains unfazed by these efforts.

Over four years have passed since Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League, a film once shrouded in legend, was released as part of the DC Extended Universe.

Nevertheless, even though the franchise has significantly shifted from the Snyderverse by introducing a fresh DCU, a new Superman, and James Gunn as director, there are still some devoted fans who find it hard to move on.

People are excited about the new Superman by Gunn, but some fans are still upset that Henry Cavill left and aren’t happy with how the previous story ended (as told by Snyder).

James Gunn says the DCU will “survive” Snyderverse fans

One user recently shared a post on the Snyder Cut subreddit, urging fellow members to “take action and advocate for the Snyderverse on July 11.” They also referred to the upcoming film as a “fake successor.

Instead of “fight”, they were referring to actions like sharing spoilers for Superman, writing negative reviews on multiple platforms, and booking tickets but not paying for them to hinder fictional bots called “Gunnbots” from purchasing tickets.

Gunn initiated the lethal blow to the Snyderverse, but we now have an opportunity to counterattack against him.

Through Threads, someone forwarded a snapshot of the post to Gunn, urging him to notice this “distasteful conduct.” Fortunately, the director is handling it with a light touch.

James Gunn responded to the Reddit post on the Snyder Cut subreddit concerning potential spoilers for the film, along with various other comments. 😥

He wrote, ‘Ha! I believe we’ll make it through. I doubt those eight individuals who follow his advice will significantly alter the outcome of things.’ This suggests that the speaker is unsure about the influence of eight people (presumably a male) who are listening to someone.

To avoid overlooking the fact, let me remind you that Gunn has a friendship with Snyder. Earlier on Threads, he mentioned that Snyder has been remarkably helpful during this entire process.

Also, the post on the Snyder Cut subreddit was removed and locked by its moderators.
