Kick star Neon says streaming is “cooked” due to big names trying to “one-up” each other

Streamer Neon has voiced his concerns about the present condition of streaming, stating that it’s excessively crowded and more difficult than before for newcomers to make a name for themselves without assistance from well-known figures in the field.

During an appearance on the One Night with Steiny podcast, Neon expressed that the most dependable method for a streamer to expand their audience is by “being promoted,” as organic growth is becoming less and less frequent.

Instead of pointing out old tactics such as compensating clipper teams for creating viral content, he contends that even this method is now obsolete.
