Hitman Dev Gives Update On Mysterious Fantasy Project

In a recent interview with TopMob, IO Interactive hinted at more details about their forthcoming James Bond game and also casually revealed that their sixth original intellectual property (IP) is actually a pre-existing fantasy project they had already announced.

In his interview during TopMob’s Summer Games Fest live stream, Abrak emphasized that pouring a piece of oneself into the work is crucial for their creative process. Over the years, they have successfully created five original intellectual properties from scratch, and now they are working on their sixth project, which is a fantasy-themed one.

Right from the start, Abrak made it clear that they weren’t interested in turning a movie into a game. Instead, their focus was on exploring the origins of their younger James Bond character, aiming for something more vibrant and youthful.

During the interview, Abrak remained silent about their upcoming fantasy project, but casually mentioned it without being asked, suggesting there might be more information coming up soon. You can find some details about this project on the official IO Interactive website.
