Aksys is working with Falcom on a Tokyo Xanadu eX+ Switch 2 compatibility update

Yesterday, Aksys Games shared that they’re collaborating with Falcom to bring the enhanced edition of “Tokyo Xanadu”, titled “Tokyo Xanadu eX+”, to the Nintendo Switch 2. Initially, I thought it might be a compatibility update due to existing problems with the game running via backward compatibility on the Switch 2. However, I contacted them to clarify their statement as some social media users seemed curious about what exactly they meant by this announcement.

Aksys has verified for me that the recent update was simply a compatibility adjustment, not a native launch for Switch 2. I also inquired about the prospect of incorporating the revised English dub into the PlayStation and Steam editions of Tokyo Xanadu eX+. Aksys has indicated they are considering this option, but have yet to reveal any further details at this time.

Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is now available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms.
