New Fantasy Life i update out now lets you adjust the camera range, disable depth of field on console, & more

Level-5 has rolled out a significant update for the game “Fantasy Life I: The Girl Who Steals Time” across all platforms. This update includes the camera features that were earlier announced, enhancements for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, and additional improvements.

The new update is labeled as version 1.3.0 on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, while it’s version 1.3.1 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Some features from the 1.3.1 update will be rolled out to the Nintendo Switch platforms at a later time. The details for the updates in versions 1.3.0 and 1.3.1, released on June 12, are now accessible to you.

■ Version 1.3.0 Highlights (Nintendo Switch 2 / Nintendo Switch)

  • Fixed an issue in Treasure Groves where routes were not generated correctly, preventing progression.
  • Added an option to enable automatic lock-on to the nearest enemy when drawing a weapon.
  • Improved rendering and visual quality (Nintendo Switch 2 version)…and more

Version 1.3.1 Updates (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam)
This update incorporates many of the improvements from version 1.3.0, and also includes:

  • Adjusted the range of the camera.
  • Adjusted farming actions so that “Sow Seeds” and “Water Plants” apply to all tiles on a farm.
  • Flying with Skelegon can now be used while jumping or swimming…and more.

Changes introduced in version 1.3.1 will be rolled out for the Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch at a future time.

As a dedicated gamer, I’m pumped to share some exciting news! In an upcoming update, version 1.4.0, the camera range is set to get a major upgrade for both my Nintendo Switch and the eagerly awaited Switch 2. This update will roll out at a future date, so keep your eyes peeled for it!
